கடலை மாவு போண்டா - Quick Evening Snack
Besan bonda is an spicy and flavourful snack with just 15 minutes preparation time and 15 minutes cooking time. This is an alternate for medhu bonda or bajji.
i add loads of chopped onion, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Green chillies for heat. No ginger or garlic. This is one best snack for a rainy evening. but i did this on one hottest day of this summer. the reason for this atrocity is.. the boredom of corona lock down 2020. I love cooking, but its very hot to enter the kitchen after 11am. i finish the cooking before that. what i would do after that?! Most of the summers, the evening sun light enters my kitchen through the window. i never dare to go inside my kitchen at that time. but that day i was really bored.. that i had guts to get into my kitchen and prepare this snack in just 30 minutes. worth it! we all had it with ketchup and liked it too. coconut chutney whould have been a better side for this bonda. but i cannot stay inside my kitchen longer than that to make the chutney.
