Pineapple-Pom-Mint Juice

Pineapple-Pomegranate-Mint Juice

I decided to give my daughter some fresh fruit juices or milk shakes or smoothies for her morning breakfast as she finds hard to drink her milk and eat solid break fast within a short gap of time. One morning, I just opened my fridge, took out the pomegranate (pom) and pineapple. Just took the required quantity of these to make a juice for my daughter. The juice came out good. I added palm sugar and mint for more goodness. I generally make juice with pom and the thin membrane which separates the pom fruits into sections. This is the healthiest part of pom which we usually ignore. This pom juice with palm sugar is very good for girls. The palm sugar is an excellent coolant. You can add honey too instead of palm sugar. OK.. now lets see how to make this health potion.

Pineapple-Pom-Mint Juice

Ingredients:

  • Pomegranate - 1 big size (peeled with the thin partition membrane inside the fruit)
  • Pineapple -  1/4th of a big fruit
  • Mint - 4 leaves
  • palm sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Rock salt - 1/2 pinch
  • Ice cubes - 1 tray

Procedure:

  • Clean and peel the pom along with the thin paper like membrane inside the fruit. Keep the pineapple also ready.

  • Take a mixer jar or a blender, add the pom, pineapple, mint, palm sugar, rock salt and ice cubes and run the mixer.

  • Now strain the juice in the serving glasses and enjoy the health potion!!
Make the juice just when you are ready to have it. Do not make the juice if you are planning to consume it later. The enzymes and other nutrients in the fruit will become sad 😄 and start to deactivate if the juice is kept out for long time.
